About Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan

Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan is a Pine Mountain herbal formula that has been specifically created to help tonify and warm Kidney Yang. The product can treat Kidney Yang deficiency, Jin Ye stasis, Xiao Ke, Tan Yin, Leg Qi, and Wei Syndrome (leg atrophy) caused by Kidney and Liver deficiency. Also referred to as Shen Qi Wan, Ba Wei Di Huang Wan, and Rehmannia Eight Formula, it can restore the vital function and energy of the kidney. 

 

How Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan Works 

 

The carefully selected ingredients in the Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan formula have been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. Each compound delivers a wealth of health benefits and comes loaded with properties that make them ideal for the treatment of a long list of health conditions. Below are just some of the health concerns Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan is used in Eastern Medicine for its effectiveness:

  • Dysuria (difficulty in urination)
  • Cold aversion
  • Watery stools with food that has not been digested.
  • Lower back pain
  • Weakness of the legs.

  • Severe fatigue

Tonifies the Kidneys and nourishes the Blood and Yin


 

Rou Gui – For Kidney Yang Deficiency

 

Shan Zhu Yu – To combat sweating, restrain urination, secure Jing, and nourish Kidney Yin.

Shan Zhu Yu

Stops excess perspiration, astringes Yin and nourishes Kidney Yang and Yin.

Combined with Shan Yao, it benefits the Spleen and tonifies the Liver.

Shan Yao

Nourishes Jing, stabilizes the Kidneys and strengthens the Spleen.

 

Combined with Shan Zhu Yu or Shu Di Huang can help fight night sweats, impotence, lower back pain, tinnitus, dizziness, and Kidney Deficiency with spermatorrhea. 

Zhi Fu Zi

Tonifies Kidney Yang and Ming Men Fire, eliminates dampness and dispels cold.

  

Rou Gui and Shu Di Huang – For urinary frequency, impotence, sore and weak legs and back, and Kidney Yang Deficiency with aversion to cold and waning of Ming Men Fire.

 

Gui Zhi – To help enhance water metabolism and help Yang.

Gui Zhi

Facilitates and warms the flow of Qi through the collaterals and channels, tonifies and warms Kidney Yang, and promotes the flow of Blood through the vessels. 

Zhi Fu Zi – For painful legs and hands due to Yang Deficiency. Also, for backache and chills. 

 

Mu Dan Pi – To help facilitate the flow of Blood to the Kidneys.

Rou Gui

Helps generate Qi and Blood, lead Fire back to its source, alleviate pain, unblock vessels and channels, warm the channels, disperse deep Cold, strengthen Ming Men Fire and Yang, and warm the Heart, Spleen, and Kidneys.

Combined with Zhi Fu Zi, it can combat Deficiency of Ming Men Fire with infertility or impotence while tonifying Kidney Yang for Kidney Yang Deficiency with weakness in the knees and legs and lower back pain

Ze Xie

Prevents Kidney Fire and promotes urination.

 

Fu Ling – To enable Gui Zhi to warm the Bladder, drain Dampness, strengthen the Spleen, and promote urination.

 

Mu Dn Pi and Fu Ling – To tonify, drain, and regulate the Spleen, Liver, and Kidneys.

Fu Ling

Drains Dampness and strengthens the Spleen.

Combined with Gui Zhi, it can promote urination, unblock Yang, and transform and warm the Fluids. 

Mu Dan Pi

Dispels Blood stasis, invigorates, cools and harmonizes the Blood, and clears Deficiency Fire and Heat. 

  

 

Drug and/or Herb Interactions

 

 

Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan can be effective in treating adverse reactions and side effects, including emotional disturbances, perspiration, weight gain, and dizziness related to the long-term use of prednisone. 

 

Contraindications 

 

Do NOT use Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan if you have Yin Deficiency with a red tongue (no coat) and dry throat and mouth. 

Use with caution if you have a weakness of the gastrointestinal system.

The formula is contraindicated for individuals with frequent diarrhea, marked ascites, and flushing of the face with fever. 

Do NOT take if pregnant. 

Lactating women should consult with their healthcare professional before taking the formula.
