About Dysbiocide

Dysbiocide is a proprietary blend of select, natural ingredients - herbal extracts and herbs - with proven efficiency in supporting intestinal health. The components of the formula have been evidenced to promote the synergistic healing of damaged gut tissue that is the direct outcome of dysbiosis, a condition that describes the out-of-balance bacterial colonies (microbiota) in the body. The manufacturer has combined Western and Eastern medicine and herbs as a means to provide a formula with a potent anti-dysbiotic effect, without requiring large dosing to achieve it.

Dysbiosis and Health

The human body is colonized by bacteria, the majority of which has a beneficial effect on our health. Also known as microbiota, these bacteria play a vital role in the body’s natural processes. Dysbiosis occurs when the bacterial colonies in the intestines and the stomach (the gastrointestinal tract) lose balance, and the bad bacteria outnumber the good ones. In many cases, the body manages to restore balance and any symptoms of dysbiosis, such as upset stomach, quickly subside. Sometimes, though, this is impossible, and the symptoms go from bad to worse. When that happens, the individual should seek medical help and guidance.

Causes of Dysbiosis

Dysbiosis of the gastrointestinal tract usually happens when we (1) experience high levels of anxiety and stress (the situation weakens the immune system), (2) have made changes in our diet and increased the consumption of food additives, sugar, and protein, (3) accidentally consumed chemicals (i.e., pesticides from fruit that has not been washed well), (4) over consume alcoholic beverages, (5) take medications that affect the gut flora (i.e., antibiotics), (6) maintain a poor oral hygiene that enables bacteria in the mouth to grow exponentially, and more.

Let’s also note that dysbiosis is not only a gut issue. It could affect the skin too when it is exposed to harmful bacteria, or a type of bacteria grows out of control (i.e., Staphylococcus aureus bacteria).

Symptoms of Dysbiosis

Depending on where in the body the bacterial balance has broken, the symptoms may include halitosis (bad breath), upset stomach, constipation, nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, anxiety, depression, trouble concentrating/thinking, rash, redness, chest pain, bloating, vaginal or rectal itching or difficulty urinating.
