About Jie Biao II

Jie Biao II is a herbal formula from the Probotanixx line of Sun Ten Laboratories that has been specifically created to help individuals combat common cold and influenza symptoms. Due to its carefully selected ingredients, Jie Biao II is also effective when used to fight infections of the upper respiratory tract, which are usually manifested with symptoms that include headache, thirst, sore throat, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, yellowish phlegm (sticky) and/or fever.

How Does Jie Biao II Work?

Jie Biao II contains compounds that are widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat common cold and flu symptoms. In Western medicine, it is believed that different bacteria or pathogenic viruses cause external infectious diseases. In Chinese medicine, such conditions are all the outcome of Wind-Heat injuring Wei Qi (aka Qi or Chi) – our lung-controlled first line of defense against ailment-causing external factors/wind pathogens. Wind-Heat lists over 100 different ailments, including influenza and allergic rhinitis. The compounds in the Jie Biao II formula help handle Wind-Heat symptoms and deriving health problems. In detail, the formula helps dispel Wind-Heat, reduce pain, ease congestion, lower fever, induce sweating, and relieve the Exterior.

Wind-Heat Exterior Invasions

Wind-Heat-caused diseases are all infectious and invade the human body through the nose and mouth. When a Wind-Heat illness occurs, the pathogenic factor is usually particularly virulent and strong. In most cases, the individual affected by a Wind-Heat invasion has a high fever, slight aversion to cold, severe sore throat, mild body aches, whole-head headaches, floating-rapid pulse, and somewhat darkish urine. It should be noted that a Wind-Heat disease tends to dry up the fluids of the body.

Wind-Heat External Invasion Consequences

These may include from long-lasting cough and asthma aggravation due to the residual pathogenic factor to post-viral fatigue syndrome. In severe cases, Wind-Heat external invasions may lead to serious diseases, such as auto-immune diseases and leukemia. In small children, Wind-Heat infections can result in meningitis, varicella, and mother serious diseases.

Wind-Heat invasions take place when the body’s Qi is, for some reason (i.e., irregular diet, overwork, stress, etc.), out of balance, or temporarily weak. In some instances, the external pathogen that is invading the body is particularly strong for Qi to fight off. Sudden weather changes that leave the body with no time to adjust to them can also influence the outcome of a pathogenic factor invading the human body. Sneezing, fever, a floating pulse, and runny nose are the most common symptoms related to Wind-Heat diseases.
