How Composition A Works

Composition A by Seven Forests was devised on the basis of formulas used to support normal immune function. The key herbs are astragalus, ganoderma, and deer antler. This formula contains twenty herbs to nourish all the organs and essences with: yin and blood nourishing herbs (rehmannia, tortoise shell, ligustrum, peony, lycium, ophiopogon, millettia) yang tonic herbs (horney goat weed, cistanche, antler) and qi tonic herbs (astragalus, ginseng, atractylodes, licorice). 

Antitoxin herbs are included in Compostion A (andrographis, lonicera, hu-chang, phellodendron) these herbs also clear heat from the blood. Red Root Sage vitalises blood circulation, clears heat, and, with millettia, aids production of blood.
