Potassium Iodide provides normal thyroid support with potassium iodide.

Potassium Iodide by Life Extension is a specific blocker of thyroid radio-iodine uptake.

Potassium Iodide is usually found in iodized salt and used to prevent iodine deficiency. A natural source of potassium iodide is kelp.

This product contains NO milk, egg, fish, peanuts, crustacean shellfish (lobster, crab, shrimp), soybeans, tree nuts, wheat, yeast, gluten, corn, or rice.

Contains NO sugar, and no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors, or preservatives.

Serving Size and Directions

Potassium iodide should only be taken when instructed to do so by official health warnings.

Do not use as an everyday supplement.

• Adults take one tablet.
• Children 3 to 18 years take one half (1/2) tablet.
• Children 1 month to 3 years take one quarter (1/4) tablet.
• Newborns from birth to 1 month take one eighth (1/8) tablet.

Importantly, potassium iodide that is not absorbed by the thyroid gland is quickly flushed from the system through urine.
