About Astra 8

Astra 8, also known as Si Jun Zi Tang (modified) tonifies the lung, spleen, and kidney qi. This is a proprietary blend of herbs based on the herbal formula si jun zi tang in traditional Chinese medicine used as an immune tonic. These herbs help with Qi deficiency of the lung and may reduce the frequency of cold and flu.

What is Astragalus Root?

Astragalus root (huang qi) is a foundational herb used in traditional Chinese medicine for hundreds of years. It is used to support the Wei Qi against threats to the system. It is often used to strengthen the body, tonify the Spleen. Astragalus is often used in soups, teas, extracts, and capsules.

Astra 8 is a herbal supplement used for the following symptoms:

How it works

Astra 8 is a Qi tonic and immune tonic supporting normal immune function with schizandra, licorice, and ligustrum.

Schizandra (wu wei zi) combined with eleuthero root (ci wu jia) promote body energy and mental activity.

Licorice (gan cao) supports normal immune function

Ligustrum (nu zhen zi) promotes circulation and removes toxins from the liver, and has immune supporting properties.

Oryza (gu ya) is a digestant.

Serving Size

3 capsules, two to three times a day, between meals

270 capsules, 550 mg, 45 day supply

Ingredients

Proprietary Blend (550 mg. per capsule) of: Astragalus root, Eleuthro root, Ginseng root extract, Schizandra fruit, Ligustrum fruit, Oryza srout, licorice root.

Other Ingredients: Vegetable Gun, Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Cellulose.

Pin Yin: Huang Qi, Ci Wu Jia, Ren Shen, Wu Wei Zi, Nu Zhen Zi, Gu Ya, Gan Cao.
