How EstroMend Works

EstroMend is from the Douglas Labs Hormone Specific product line.

EstroMend, provided by Douglas Laboratories and formulated by Dr. Joseph J Collins, was created to support the normal function of specific hormones through the use of hormone specific adaptogens, hormone specific agonists and hormone specific functional mimetic.

The primary functions of EstroMend are to support the natural production of estrogen and support how tissues throughout the body respond to estrogen. This is accomplished by supporting the function of estrogen producing glands, and by supporting the function of estrogen responsive tissues through the use of herbs that have
phytoestrogen properties.

The synergistic combination of specific herbs in EstroMend support important functions associated with normal estrogen function and support symptoms of low estrogen levels, such as menopausal, gynecological, memory, mood, sleep, urinary, and vasomotor.

Pueraria & Trifolium provide isoflavones that support 2-hydroxylation, glucose utilization and normal bone function.

Phytoestrogens that mimic the functions of estrogens without proliferative actions, include Cimicfuga, Humulus , and Salvia which support and minimize the changes and symptoms that are sometimes experienced during menopause. The phytoestrogens found in Dong Quai also help to increase vaginal lubrication by supporting normal mucus tissue function.

Adaptogens with nootropic and neuroprotective properties such as Bacopa, Centella, Salvia and Schisandra support cognition, memory and the facilitation of learning.

EstroMend Serving Size

As a dietary supplement, adults may take 2 capsules each evening with food for 1 to 2 weeks or as directed by your healthcare professional.

The dose may then be increased to 4 capsules each evening with food for 2 to 4 months or as directed by your healthcare professional.

After 2 to 4 months, Serving Size may be lowered back down to 2 capsules each evening with food and may continue on that Serving Size as needed or as directed by your healthcare professional.
