Product Description: This formula combines the classical Chinese herbal formulas Yin Qiao Tang & Gan Mao Ling with the classical Western naturopathic H.E.M.P. (Hydrastis, Echinacea, Myrrh, & Phytollaca) Formula. It is clinically used by herbal practitioners for the symptomatic relief of sore throats & throat irritations predominantly associated with external pathogenic influences.*
Traditional Actions: Dispel early and later stage wind-cold and wind-heat, through diaphoresis; clear internal heat & toxins, Manifesting as symptoms of sore throat.
Traditional Syndrome Patterns: Acute invasion of external wind, cold / heat pathogenic factors.
Clinical Signs & Symptoms: Acute upper respiratory tract patterns characterized by sore throat, swollen glands, due
to common cold & flu and other acute febrile diseases. Fevers, chills, slight cough, headache, stiffness of upper back and neck; thirst, difficulty, sweating, slight or no chills, slight intolerance to wind and cold.*

Essential oils of Thyme, Rosmary, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon, Myrrh & Peppermint. Dosage / Directions: Spray 2-4 times at back of throat as needed several times daily. Cautions / Contraindications: This formula is very cooling in nature. Use caution in larger dosages (i.e. Tsp. dosing) in any patterns / syndromes aggravated by cold or cooling herbs. Generally spray dosing will not cause this over-cooling effect. If symptoms of damp accumulation or Spleen, Yang or Qi deficiency are present, combine with an appropriate formula.
