Sea Ace contains these ingredientsSea Ace Formula Rational:In a double blind crossover study with sixty-five borderline or mildly hypertensive subjects, patients were asked to maintain their normal physical activities and food intake, and were requested to keep their sodium chloride intake below 8g per day. Sea Ace was administered at the equivalent of three capsules per day. Following the two week observation period, subjects entered either the active or the placebo groups for five weeks; then for the following five weeks, the treatments were reversed. Blood pressure was measured every day between 8am and 9am by using a sphygmomanometer on the left arm; measurements were made with the subject in a sitting position after the subject had rested for five minutes. In the first group, those receiving the placebo showed a temporary blood pressure decrease the second week, but the value returned to the baseline level. Those taking Sea Ace showed a clear decrease in blood pressure. The systolic blood pressure decreased by 11.7 +/- 1.3mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure by 6.9 +/- 1.0mmHg. After the crossover the group that previously received the placebo and failed to show any significant decrease, now started to show a blood pressure decrease following the administration of Sea Ace; the systolic blood pressure decreased by 9.4 +/- 1.2mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure decreased by 4.6 +/- 0.8mmHg. In the group that first took Sea Ace, no subject showed a rebound effect when switched to the placebo. The ratio of subjects who received either a significant or moderate blood pressure decrease was 62.3 percent. According to questionnaires given before and after the entire test period, no subject experienced any abnormal symptoms. This is significant because ACE inhibiting drugs typically cause side effects such as dry cough, dizziness, impaired renal function and a rebound effect whereby there is an abnormal elevation of blood pressure after terminating the drug.
About Health Concerns
Health Concerns is at the leading edge of research in herbal medicine and were the first company to manufacture Chinese herbal products in the United States for practitioners. They research, test and adapt traditional Chinese herbal formulas to effectively treat commonly seen disorders.
Health Concerns understands that the traditional means of administering Traditional Chinese Medicine, through the brewing and drinking of teas, is not often effective for Western patients. Therefore they developed a wide range of products based on Traditional Chinese edicine formulas in a tablet form.
