Manufacturer: Dr. Kang Formulas This formula is to be used as a supplement to a balanced diet when treating cancerous tumors. The Western perspective on cancer notes that a tissue first becomes transformed due to some irritation, carcinogen or genetic predisposition. A transformed cell has more of its genome (its DNA) in the active state, open for transcription. The second step is malignancy wherein a transformed cell enters uncontrolled growth and replication cycles due to turned-on fetal growth genes called oncogenes. Normally the human body's immune system can recognize cells in this malignant state because they produce fetal proteins that are immunogenic. Lymphocytes called T cytotoxic cells become activated and track down and lyse malignant cells. Given a normal immune system and a healthy lifestyle, most people can defeat the limited number of malignant cells that form over a lifetime. Some people are more at risk if, for example, they are tobacco smokers or contact carcinogenic chemicals. One aspect of this formula addresses the immune system. Once activated, the T cytotoxic cells lyse tumor cells as well as individual cancer cells that have metastasized from the main tumor. Note that some of the ingredients in this formula directly act upon the cancer while some ingredients stimulate the immune system and keep the body strong and resilient during treatment. This is an acute care formula used by Dr. Kang successfully in the hospital setting in China as well as with patients in his own clinic. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine cancer arises in part from carcinogenic agents disturbing the Primordial Qi. Additional causes may be emotional Tan Yin (phlegm and excessive fluid, stagnant Blood, and weakness of Yuan Qi (the Primordial Principle). Dosage information for Onco-Tea2 to 3 capsules, two times per day; morning and evening. The dosage can be variable. Use three times per day if the patient is strong. Use half the amount if the patient is weak. Dr Kang is in the process of changing their formula size from 90 capsules of 500mg each equalling 45 grams to 60 tablets of 750mg each equalling 45 grams. Depending on what is currently in inventory you may receive the 90 capsules or the 60 tablets.
