How it works:

Changes in mood and mental health have been associated with inflammation. NorLOX by NeuroScience contains acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid which is a potent inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), the enzyme responsible for the production of pro-inflammatory leukotrienes.

Acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid also prevents TNF- induced expression of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and upregulation of adhesion molecules, both of which are involved in the movement of leukocytes to the site of inflammation. Acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid also prevents TNF-a induced expression of matrix metallaproteinases (MMPs) and upregulation of adhesion molecules, both of which are involved in the movement of leukocytes to the site of the immune response.

NorLOX by NeuroScience also provides 5-Hydroxytryptophan to support serotonin levels which can be reduced by pro-inflammatory cytokines.
