Also for damp-heat Bi pan (painful obstruction syndrome) with sinew or bone pain in the lower body especially low back, knees and feet, with redness, swelling and heat in the joints, heaviness and numbness in the limbs, difficulty walking. Symptoms may be exacerbated by inactivity and hot humid weather and may improve with movement and the application of cold. May be accompanied by difficult or painful urination with scanty dark urine, thick, yellow, strong-smelling vaginal discharge. Biomedical Applications:arthritis, gout, hemiplegia, peripheral neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, leukorrhea, urinary tract infection, cystitis, urethritis, urinary calculi, nephritis, prostatitis Standard Dosage:3 grams three times daily or 4.5 grams twice daily.
