Manufacturer: Red Blossom Tea Company In the Spring of 2006, we introduced the first of our Heirloom Formosa oolongs: mid-oxidized, richer teas that reflect a style of tea making fast becoming obsolete in the tea world. In Winter of 2006, we found a tea maker on San Lin Xi who took interest in our more traditional approach to teas. A small batch of his winter harvest crop was made in this traditional manner. In the Spring of 2007, the tea maker did the same with his spring harvest. Our Heirloom San Ling Xi is a result of both efforts - a blend of sweeter winter leaves with more robust Spring leaves. Golden floral notes with a hint of tropical fruit and sugar cane in sweet cream. Water Temperature: 195 ° or when medium bubbles begin to rise and water becomes agitated. Brewing Instructions: Steep for 2-3 minutes. Use 2 tablespoons (3 for a medium sized pot). May be infused multiple times. Recommended Method: Gaiwan, Teapot, Infuser
