How For Hair Works
The Western scientific perspective on hair loss has been pretty well defined as an ailment of the skin wherein free testosterone gets changed to DHT (dihydrotestosterone) by 5-alpha-reductase enzymes that begin to form in the late twenties and thirties. This is a normal aging process and seems to be linked to the X chromosome. Males receive only one X chromosome which is always expressed and, therefore, they get the full effects of male-pattern balding.
